Organization and Governance

The AO's structure mirrors its two functional areas. There are the Service Units and Clinical Specialties that conduct research, development, education, clinical investigation and approval of new devices or methods. And then there are the Management Boards that support, supervise and ensure implementation of the multitude of AO activities.
